How much will this cost?
 
What is the fee for annual membership?

Chamber membership is not a cost, it is an investment. The benefits and resources available through chamber membership will provide lasting value in promoting your business and expanding your network of contacts.
 

The annual fee for membership ranges and is based on the type and size of the business. Generally, most memberships will be less than one to two dollars a day.

 
 
 
What areas do your chamber members come from?
 
What types of businesses are involved with the chamber?

Our members are primarily from the LAX corridor, Westchester, Marina del Rey, Playa del Rey and Playa Vista. We also have members from the neighboring communities of El Segundo, Inglewood, Mar Vista, Los Angeles and Culver City.
 

We are proud to include a diverse group of members ranging in size and industry from individuals and sole-proprietors to multi-national corporations.

Your membership works for you each time you attend a meeting, mixer or special event. You may also want to consider becoming a Networking Ambassador.

 
 
 
What are some of the networking opportunities available?
 
Do you charge extra to attend meetings or mixers?

We host six monthly committee meetings and a monthly mixer. All of our meetings offer opportunities to promote your business, connect with other businesses and community members who live and work in our area and focus on topics relevant to the business community.
 

Attending monthly meetings and mixers are one of the benefits that come with membership. There is no extra charge.

 
 
 
What are the marketing opportunities available through the chamber?
 
Is the chamber involved in local government?

We offer a number of ways to promote your business at no additional cost. These include a listing in our annual directory, inclusion on our website with a direct link to your website, a ribbon cutting to announce the opening of a new business and participation in our Member Advantage Program. Chamber members also are eligible for the LAX We Fly as One Program (www.weflyasone.org), which in addition to a listing on the LAX website, members can participate in an annual business expo on-site at LAX.
 

Yes. The Chamber is alway working to advocate for business and works closely with the local Government. Additionally, the Chamber puts on monthly Governmental Affairs Breakfasts (GAB) to invite local political figures to address the Chamber in an informal setting with a question and answer format.

You may advertise in our annual directory, monthly newsletter and weekly email report at rates reasonably priced for our members.

What are some of the community relations advantages of membership?
   

The Chamber is very active in the community it serves. We are more that just a business organization. Some of the community activities put on by the Chamber include: The Teacher Eddy Awards (Outstanding Teachers of the Year), Marina del Rey Boat Show, ChamberFest Business Expo/Taste of Event and Westchester on Parade – Fourth of July Parade.
